What people are saying

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Difficult to operate! My LG OLED here in USA dose not have the menu you describe here. There's NO menu that appears with a long press of the input button. Mine senses what kind of input is plugged into the HDMI port. I am overall very dissatisfied with the way the TV operates. Nice picture but any features are no good if you dont know they exist or how to set them. I'd strongly recommend buying a simple low cost TV that one can control. I like going to LIVE events or the movies for big screen.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good Picture When Working - Awful Customer Support This isn't my first LG OLED TV - I previously owned a 65" C8 and ended up selling it to upgrade to a 77" C9 OLED. I never had too many issues with the C8 and thought my experience would be just as good with the 77" C9, but boy was I wrong. This thing has been riddled with issues from the get-go: I've dealt with stuck pixels, TV constantly freezing and needing hard resets to work, temporary image retention when just scrolling through apps, image retention when watching a movie and studio logo pops up, etc. I thought "well, this sucks but I'm sure LG will take care of me since I have videos and pictures of the problems" but that was my first mistake.

There is a version of this TV sold at Costco. Is the only difference between this TV (OLED55C9PUA) and the Costco one (OLED55CXAUA.AUS) is that the Costco model has a α9 Gen 3 AI processor 4K instead of a Gen 2 processor? Do you offer a Gen 3 unit here?

Which connection is faster - ethernet or WiFi?

Asked by: jim22
Ethernet is just plain faster than Wi-Fi—there’s no getting around that fact. But the real-world differences are smaller than you might think. Wi-Fi has gotten significantly faster over the last few years, thanks to new standards like 802.11ac and 802.11n, which offer maximum speeds of 866.7 Mb/s and 150 Mb/s, respectively. Even though this is a maximum speed for all your wireless devices to share (and you likely won’t get those speeds in the real world), Wi-Fi has become good enough to handle most of our daily tasks.Keep in mind that the speed of your Internet connection is the bottleneck for activities involving the Internet. If your Internet speed is significantly lower than whatever type of connection you’re using, upping the speed of that connection won’t matter much. Ethernet will, however, affect the speed between devices on your network so if want to transfer files as fast as possible between two computers in the house, Ethernet will be faster than Wi-Fi. Your Internet connection isn’t involved in this, so it’s all up to the maximum speeds your local network hardware can provide...^IFV
