What people are saying

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible! My husband and I both got the Lg g8x phones and the dual screens. They are terrible! We have had them for almost 6 months. They run very slow, will kick us out of apps or web browser, or randomly open apps. Have had it call the emergency number 2 times while not even being touched. Also very fragile. My phone has been in a case since i got it and the back of my is already broken/ shattered. Buttons on side do not always respond. Thumb print unlock does not work most of time. I hate that we are now stuck with these phones. Waste of a lot of money!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Phone is ok but don't hold your breath on rebates If I could leave a 0, I would. I have 2 rebates I've been waiting on since March 22, I would say February 22nd, because that was the actual time I purchase my LG phones. First I was told there was nothing I needed to do from Sprint, when I signed up. Then after contacting Sprint in March because I hadn't receive my rebates OR the dual screen of my phones. They stated I needed to send everything LG. So I did, I received my screens in a timely matter but here it is July 1 and I'm still waiting for my rebates. I've contacted them by email. 1st email March 22: Congratulations! Your submission for the Sprint/LG G8X Mastercard & Dual Screen Gift-with-Purchase Offer has been approved (subject to a final verification of your phone's activation on the Sprint Network). Your $200 Mastercard will be delivered to you via email within 8 - 12 weeks at this email address and your LG G8X Dual Screen will be delivered within 3 - 6 weeks. You will receive an email with your tracking information as soon as your LG G8X Dual Screen ships. Ok. I wait. Emailed June 27 still says it is contingent upon review. I asked how long does the review take. Response: The delivery of your Mastercard is contingent upon an additional review to assure the terms and conditions of the offer have been met. Upon final verification, your Mastercard code will be emailed to this email address. There are no further updates at this time, we appreciate your patience. It is ridiculous, I've been waiting well over 12 weeks. It shouldn't take this long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not a toy. A device. I brought the G8X all out no lease. I wanted to see how the device handled a few tasks that a few others had already had the chance to do. I used the phone to open larger files that my other phones had trouble opening. It did it just fine, I used the hotspot and internet on 3 networks and the performance depends solely on the network and how it is being used. Large networks with less users, great performance. Limited network with many users slowed the net & games down. Many people said the phone got hot with the duel screen. Question for those people, what is your screen brightness at? Mine is as low as it can go, ALL THE TIME. Also my phone does use AOD (always on display) clock. Battery saver is also on to keep the phone from using unnecessary battery. I also deactivated many apps that came with the device as I saw no use for apps taking up unnecessary room, space, power, performance and data. This made the phone performance amazing as it already was fast but now it runs with NO update needed. What I mean by that is (Launchers) need updates (Firmware) needs updates unless you have 1 that runs that is no longer available for devices anymore. Small secret, some of the old is better than the new. Anyway many things about the device are good. This device performed perfectly fine under normal circumstances as far as using a dual screen device goes. I'm not 100% sure about what everyone is expecting from a phone but as far as using the phone for typical dual-screen things you should be perfectly fine if you're trying to go extra with the phone and play multiple videos at the same time while surfing the internet and playing video games expect a phone to get hot. Expect things to lag expect to have many problems because realistically it's a phone. If you're using this device the proper way you shouldn't have many problems.

We just bought the G8X ThinQ with AT&T and they did not have any more of the dual screens in stock and we were supposed to get it for free. They don't know when they're going to get any in since they were back ordered. Any help?
